People say I'm creative. My strengths lie in the conceptual realm, looking at things differently than most is my real talent. I have a knack for making ideas visually appeal to whomever they need to appeal to. I am strong-willed and determined. Nothing gets me down and nothing holds me back. When projects are successful it's because of focus and hard work. I still have a lot to learn.
Besides hard work, pride and understanding got me here. Pride in my work and who I am keeps my chin up. But, understanding real pain and hardship keeps me grounded.
People make me happy and spending time with my dog makes me smile. It's the simple things that I cherish.

Maryland, Rhode Island, Tennessee, North Carolina and Colorado...all the states I have lived in. You will be pleased to know that all the credits transferred. After all that moving, I graduated from Salisbury State University...less than 150 miles from where I was born. Weird the way things work out.
My first "real" job was typesetting the back side of greeting cards. I sucked it up. My second job was typesetting classified ads in a regional publication. I sucked that up too. All of the grunt work paid off and before I knew it, I was designing articles for Mid-Atlantic Country magazine. Ironically, all the moving around I had done was intended to move me as far away from that region as possible. Again, it was weird the way things worked out.
Unfortunately, that publication went bankrupt. Fortunately, I had 3 years of design experience under my belt. So I got a job as a Senior Designer at the ad agency where I worked my way up to Art Director. After three years there I decided it was time to spread my wings again and go on my own!

Optimism and big dreams are what I'm all about. If you don't dream big you won't go anywhere. Pessimists bum me out. So the answer to the question of where am I going is this: I am going where there is a phenomenal view, a long pier and cocktails at sunset. I have high expectations out of my career and my life...I want a whole lot. In my opinion, life is too short to settle for anything. Work does not need to get stale.
So here I am, finding myself in search of opportunities to learn more, to be challenged more, to be inspired more and, above all, to live more.
Now I hope you have some insight into who I am, what I have to offer and what I'm in search of. If you are interested in my career statistics, feel free to review my resume.
